Making Music from Science
Antarctic Waves is a BAFTA award-winning
music 'toolkit' for Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-level students (and equivalent
UK qualifications) which uses real science, stunning images and extraordinary
sounds from the Antarctic to inspire musical composition. Antarctic Waves
is now on release across the UK and was developed by British
Antarctic Survey, and creative multimedia company Braunarts
.

Antarctic
Waves contains three main areas; 'Virtual Tour' - a 'sights and
sounds' tour of the Antarctic, 'Making Music' - the interactive
music section using bespoke sounds created from Antarctic sounds and
including detailed Composing Guides, and 'Connections' which
details the history of the production.
